SCHOOL BUS DRIVER SHORTAGE FOR SEPTEMBER 2017

The Sudbury Student Services Consortium wishes to inform the public that a small number of bus routes do not have permanent drivers for the coming academic year.
Due to a school bus driver shortage that is affecting some local companies, a few school buses will be arriving late and leaving late from school.
Bus routes L004 and L016 will be running very late for the start of the school year. The morning pick-ups on these routes will be approximately 45 minutes later than scheduled, and the afternoon drop-offs will be delayed by approximately 30 minutes.
All affected parents and schools have been contacted, and the information will be posted on our website www.businfo.ca.
The Sudbury Student Services Consortium is working closely with school bus operators in finding solutions and ensures that recruitment efforts are ongoing.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to parents, students and schools.
Anyone interested in becoming a school bus driver should contact Leuschen Transportation at 705.674.0708 and C&D Bus Lines at 705.855.3817.
