Sudbury remains on the list as one of the best places to live in Canada.

The list is put together each year by Moneysense Magazine and this year Greater Sudbury comes in at number 84.

That’s down slightly from the 81st placing the city had on the list in 2015, but remains tops in Northern Ontario.

Timmins came in at 98th, North Bay at 133 and Sault Ste. Marie finished 165th.

Out of the 219 communities on the list, Sudbury finished in the top 25% when it comes to low taxes.

Other factors taken into consideration included affordable housing, access to health care and low crime.

The number one city on the list….Ottawa.
