Frozen Berries Causing Number Of Hepatitis A Cases

The Sudbury and District Health Unit are urging anyone who has eaten Costco’s Nature’s Touch Organic Berry Cherry Blend frozen berries to get a Hepatitis A vaccine as soon as possible.

The Health Unit says the vaccine is most effective within 14 days of consumption of the product.

An ongoing investigation has led to the recall of the product.

10 cases have been reported in Ontario, but none in Sudbury as of yet.
