Greater Sudbury Police have one man in custody after an assault in the Donovan.

Just after 2 am Tuesday morning police responded to a home on Melvin Street where a man was assaulted with a weapon.

He was taken to Health Sciences North with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation continues.
