Meet Canada’s Indiana Jones.  Former Sudburian Dr. Adam Shoalts—he’s done a 4000 kilometer journey across the Arctic, by himself, explored spooky legends deep in the Labrador Wild, spent months alone in this country’s vast wilderness and will be talking about his expeditions at Science North on Thursday, November 25th as part of their new exhibit INTO THE ARCTIC.  He is fascinating and I had the chance to talk to him about his expeditions, loneliness, and burning 4000 calories a day.

Part 2:

Into the Artic features the paintings and films of another Canadian Exploring Legend, Cory Trepanier who tragically passed away earlier this month after a battle with cancer.  He traversed 40-thousand kilometers of Canada’s Arctic painting sites no one has ever captured before.
