Premier Kathleen Wynn made the key note speech this morning at the Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities Conference being held in Sudbury.

The premier says the government is committed to reaching a negotiated settlement to the high school teachers strike and impending job action by elementary teachers.

She also talked about infrastructure funding that will includes $15 billion for areas outside the Greater Toronto-Hamilton area.

Premier Wynn also supported Sudbury M-P-P Glenn Thibeault and his efforts to seek out more information on the decision to move an O-P-P helicopter out of Sudbury.
