Closures On Highway 400/69

Two collisions closing parts of Highway 69 and 400 today.

OPP say a police officer suffered serious injuries after their cruiser was hit on Highway 400 this morning.

The collision happened at the Highway 124 ramp in Parry Sound while the officer was conducting traffic control for an earlier collision involving two transports.

That collision happened near the Key River Bridge and resulted in a chemical spill.

OPP are on the scene with EMS, Ontario Fire Marshall and hazmat crew.

Detours for northbound traffic on Highway 69 take Highway 124 to Highway 11 and for southbound traffic on Highway 69 take Highway 522 to Highway 11.
