The health care arm of Health Sciences North that deals with children, has added a new key piece of equipment.

NEO Kids has received a second tele-medicine unit that will be used in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Alex Patterson, Chair of the H-S-N Foundation Board of Directors says it will help the doctors provide even better care.

The video-conferencing technology makes it easier to keep appointments and allows for better follow-up care.

NEO Kids received the new unit thanks to $20,000 donations from both the H-S-N Foundation and the Volunteer Foundation.
