Earlier this year, Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme revealed that he had been diagnosed with cancer in 2022, subsequently undergoing surgery as treatment. In a new interview, the rocker shared that he is officially cancer-free.

“I’m good. I’m all clear,” Homme said, adding that he’s feeling “the best I’ve felt all year.”

Homme also opened up about the recent loss of several people in his life. “A lot of people have passed away near [me], nine people in the last … year and a half now.” Although he didn’t name specific people, two of his close friends, former QOTSA bandmate Mark Lanegan and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, have passed away.
