At the theatre or on your couch, maybe even the floor, the choice is yours once again on how you watch the more than 150 films at Cinefest Sudbury International Film Festival which begins tomorrow night.

Festival Director Tammy Frick says there is a lot to choose from and they went with more of a light hearted theme this year, she gave us a few of her recommendations.

The 33rd edition features 60 films SilverCity and that as usual includes some great Northern Ontario films

That includes the opening night gala, “All My Puny Sorrows” which was shot in North Bay, it will be playing at SilverCity on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. and 7:10 p.m.

Frick says despite movie companies shutting down due to COVID there wasn’t a shortage of films to pick from

She is just happy to welcome people back to the theatre

For tickets head to Cinefest.com, use their app or give them a call 705-688-1234

Frick says even if you just want to call them for a movie recommendation, they would be more than happy to give you a few.
