Beware the Cyber-Scammer

Less than five percent of cyber scams are reported to police.  Sometimes we just see that e-mail from the Nigerian Prince or someone requesting our Social Insurance Number and delete them. So the true scope of victims and the dollar value of losses to cyber crime is unknown.  October is Cyber Security Awareness Month and we called Jeff Thomson, Senior RCMP Intelligence Analyst with the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre in North Bay.
