Some Sudbury area kids who were scheduled to climb on a school bus this morning and head to the classroom for the first time since mid-March found out yesterday afternoon that there is no one to drive their bus.  A news release was sent out and automated phone calls were placed to parents who’s children are affected by a school bus driver shortage.  Many parents posted their reaction on our Face Book page and were angry at the late notice about the change in transportation.  So to answer that question and more about the shortage, we called Student Services Consortium Executive Director, Renee Boucher.  And if you think you’d like to be a school bus driver, contact Leuschen Transportation or Northway Bus Lines for information.
