Rockin' The Rock 2019

This past weekend, Julia and I made our way to Little Current on Manitoulin Island in our beautiful 2019 Mazda 3 All Wheel Drive from Palladino Mazda for the 2nd annual Rockin’ the Rock! On day 1, we laughed our butt’s off to Derek Seguin, and had a blast rockin’ out to Platinum Blonde and Glass Tiger! On day 2, we made it just in time to see Lee Aaron kill the stage! She had your 92.7 ROCK New Sudbury Centre Summer Cruisers and the crowd going wild! Next up was “The Box”, and the minute they started playing, I knew they sounded familiar. I immediately turned to Julia and said, “isn’t this Men Without Hats”? Turns out, I was right! Followed by them, was the amazing Toronto. We were blown away that all these years later, they still rocked it like it was the 80’s! Trooper was on next to close the show, and it couldn’t of been more perfect. They opened with “Here for Good Time”, and we we’re definitely there for a good time. Just before the big surprise, Trooper closed with “Raise a Little Hell”, and as soon as they finished, the fireworks were blasting behind the stage. My mom definitely raised me right, because I knew almost every song that was played!

Throughout the weekend, we met one of the station’s Exclusive Members, Eve. She’s been listening to 92.7 ROCK ever since the very beginning! Rockin’ the Rock was just what we expected… ROCKin music, amazing food, and even better company! We’re so happy that we had the chance to take part in the second year of Rockin’ the Rock. One of our highlights of the weekend was definitely being able to throw so many shirts off the stage to YOU! Safe to say, we’ll be back next year! Thank you Little Current for an amazing weekend!
