Your 92.7 ROCK New Sudbury Centre Girls of Summer, Sara-Jo and I had an amazing weekend! On Friday, we drove our 2018 Mazda MX-5 from Palladino Mazda to the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre for the Sum 41 concert. We started the night off by getting the fans pumped up as they waited in a really.. really.. really.. long line. We then found our winners, Jess and Gary, who won a meet and greet with the Grandson! Jess and Gary had a blast meeting the band who opened for Sum 41. We gave away amazing prizes from Topper’s Pizza, gift cards for Dairy Queen, and gift cards for the New Sudbury Centre! The Grandson’s performance was unreal, and blew everyone away! Next, Sum 41 begun their performance and everyone was off their seats! Sara-Jo and I have been listening to Sum 41 for about 10 years now, and we we’re ROCkin out the whole time! To finish off the night, Sum 41 sang their top song “In Too Deep”, and Sara-Jo and I we’re having a blast.

We then woke up bright and early and took our 2018 Mazda MX-5 from Palladino Mazda and headed to the Elliot Lake Drag Races! It was a beautiful ride, having the top down, enjoying the breathtaking scenery. We started the day off by watching the Deric Farquhar’s memorial mayor’s challenge, where the Mayor of Elliot Lake and the Mayor of Blind River raced against each other! The Mayor of Blind River came out on top and cheered “Giver Giver Blind River!”. Thank goodness, they had ear plugs for us because if not, I don’t think Sara-Jo and I would still have our hearing.. Throughout the races, we gave away some amazing prizes from Topper’s Pizza, and gift cards from Dairy Queen to the kids playing at the children’s area! They had bouncy castles, and even a maze race where Sara-Jo and I both got sprayed by water guns!

Overall, it was a great weekend! Thank you Sudbury and Elliot Lake 🙂
