Second Fatal On Highway 17 Near Hagar

OPP expect one lane of Highway 17 in the Hagar area to be open at 6 pm.

Update

A second fatal collision on Highway 17 happened around 10:20 this morning East of Sudbury.

OPP say a SUV collided with a transport in the Hagar area.

The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene while the transport driver suffered minor injuries.

OPP are now on the scene of a second fatal collision along Highway 17 near Hagar.

Photos sent out by police appear to show this one involving a transport as well.

Little other information has been provided but detours are set up on Highway 537 and Highway 535.
