There are many ways to avoid paying for the extra baggage fee that most airlines charge. You could pack light. You could roll everything up very tightly and vacuum seal your clothes so you can cram them into a little carry on. It’s time to get creative! Like this guy who was trying to get on a flight from Iceland to London, England last week. He wore all his clothes. Eight pairs of pants and ten shirts. This brings up several questions…is this a comfortable way to travel? How do you go to the bathroom? Why not just pay the fee? The guy who tried, and was refused by two different airlines, is a clothing designer who says he couldn’t afford the $125 fee for extra baggage. I guess he kind of got in the face of airline staff and they wouldn’t let him on the plane. The next day when he tried to get on a plane with another airline, the pilot had heard about his disruptive issue the day before and wouldn’t let him on that flight either. Finally, he found a third airline that was willing to take a chance on him and fly him home.
There’s got to be an easier way.
Check it out here.
