Figuring out dinner has never been easier! Unless you have small children, then maybe save the vodka part until they go to bed. My only gripe about this sacred holiday is that it didn’t fall on a Tuesday, because Taco Tuesday is such a natural thing… but even though I had tacos last night, I’m down to give it another go tonight! I comprised a few taco/vodka facts (Tacka? Vodko? it’s in there somewhere) that you can bust out at the dinner table, or the sloppy midnight snack table, and impress those you share your vodka and tacos with. AKA – your closest friends.

TACO FACTS!

  • 4 billion tacos are consumer in the US alone, each year.
  • The first fish taco came into existance in the city of Ensenada, Mexico. And the world has been beautiful ever since.
  • The worlds biggest taco was made back in November of 2011, in the town of Queretaro. It was 246 feet of carnitas-stuffed goodness.

VODKA FACTS!

  • Vodka is the Slavic word for “little water” because its made by mixing fermented grains with “a little water”
  • GnR bassist Duff McKagan claimed to drink “a gallon of vodka a day”. Ouch.
  • The most expensive bottle of vodka in the world is BIllionaire Vodka at $3,750,000 a bottle.
  • … screw that, just filter cheap vodka through a water filter and suddenly it tastes like top shelf vodka!

Good luck waking up with a stomach full of tacos and vodka tomorrow morning!
