(CP) There are halls of fame that feature inventions that have made our life better. Think of this one as a hall of shame for those great ideas that turned out not to be, well, so great. It’s the Museum of Failure, located in Sweden. And it has its share of high-tech bombs “enshrined.” One of them is Google’s Glass. The curator says it earns a spot because it was simply released before its time _ and was full of bugs as a result. Also coming in for ridicule is the Segway two-wheeled mobility device. It was supposed to be a revolutionary way for people to get around _ but is mostly limited to use by packs of tourists. Other invention “fails” include Heinz’s attempt to re-imagine ketchup as green, fat-free Pringles _ and classics like Pepsi’s Crystal clear soda and a men’s eau-du-toilette branded by, wait for it … Harley-Davidson.
