The annual RBC Hike For Hospice returns on May 7th, raising money for Maison McCulloch Hospice.

Over the past 10 years the hike has raised one million dollars for the facility.

This may be the most important hike to date as the Hospice announced plans for a 5.1 million dollar expansion on top of the one million dollars needed to balance the books each year.

CEO of the Hospice Leo Therrien says the goal once again is to raise over $165,000.

RBC started the event off with a $15,000 donation.

Therrien says once again the hike will  be about bringing a community together in a family atmosphere, people wearing t-shirts to remember loved ones.

The hike will once again be held at the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre on May 7th.
