Maison McCulloch Hospice has launched a campaign called “Stand By Me” which will look to add 10 new beds to a 16 thousand square foot addition.

A 2015 study deemed the Hospice to be too small which has been confirmed by a 94 per cent capacity and need for pediatric multi-use suite with living area.

The campaign goal is to raise 5.1 million dollars and Campaign Chair Gerry Lougheed Jr., says they have a tight construction schedule.

They hope to have shovels in the ground with the new beds in use by June, 2018.

Lougheed says they are more than confident the generous community will come through again and through community donations and the McCulloch Family, 1.5 million dollars has already been raised.
