Obviously I’m more of a rock and metal guy, but I do have the odd pop track on list. From the above list, I have just one of the artists: The Chainsmokers – “Closer”, and also “Don’t Let Me Down”. At the end of the day, find what works for you and go for it. A good rule of thumb I find is, give yourself 3 months with an honest effort and if you’ve never been to a gym before and you know there’s no way you’re going to ask a stranger for help or direction, get one of the staff. The staff at the Y are great and you can always pony up a few extra bucks for a couple of personal training sessions…it’ll be worth it! Otherwise, you’ might just end up wasting time & money and no one wants to do either of those.
