Even though he’s still an executive producer on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice, president-elect Donald Trump took to Twitter today to mock replacement host Arnold Schwarzenegger after the show’s new season debuted to poor ratings. “Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got ’swamped’ (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT,“ Trump tweeted, referring to himself by his initials. “So much for being a movie star–and that was [his] season 1 compared to [my] season 14. But who cares, he supported Kasich and Hillary.“ Schwarzenegger has since tweeted back, “There’s nothing more important than the people’s work. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you’ll work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings.“ Ah-nuld also tweeted a video of himself reading a quote from Abraham Lincoln, writing in the caption, “Please study this quote from Lincoln’s inaugural, @realdonaldtrump. It inspired me every day I was Governor, and I hope it inspires you.“ Find out more here!
