The city council of Chanhassen, Minnesota, has delayed this week’s opening of Prince’s former Paisley Park home, which was scheduled to debut as a public museum on October 6. According to The Star Tribune, council members voted 3-2 to push back the opening in order to devote more time to figuring out how the museum would affect the town’s traffic, safety and parking. “We only have one chance to get this right,“ said council member Bethany Tjornhorn at the Monday night meeting, adding that she wasn’t sure Chanhassen wanted to become a “tourist town.“ The Paisley Park museum could see as many as 600,000 visitors annually.
