Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s stay in Sudbury has come to an end.

Trudeau and the federal cabinet were at their retreat in Sudbury over the weekend where they looked ahead to what is going to be a gruelling fall session of Parliament.

Trudeau says projects like funding for the Maley Drive extension are a perfect example of how working with provinces and cities will create jobs.

Trudeau says the government’s immediate priorities surround the rebuilding of relationships, especially with indigenous people.

The Prime Minister at his cabinet stayed at Laurentian University.

At the dorms at,Trudeau and his cabinet had a chance to interact in close quarters.

Bringing back some memories for the Prime Minister who spent his schooling days at McGill University then the University of British Columbia.

But the big question, who did he room with?

He says, the perks of being a Prime Minister means he had a room to himself.

But representative with Laurentian University says they received nothing but praise from the ministers who stayed in a dorm with four bedrooms and a shared kitchen space.

Later Monday night they capped off their stay in Sudbury with a BBQ held at Science North.
