Police Search For Suspect On Bike Who Committed At Least One Sexual Assault

Two separate assaults over the weekend have the public on high alert in the Valley East area.

Both incidents happened in the afternoon, the first on Friday in Val Therese, the other Sunday in Hanmer.

Police say the suspect, described as a man on a bicycle rode up behind the adult female pedestrian and assaulted them.

Now Greater Sudbury Police are treating this as a sexual assault case and are asking women to be alert of surroundings and to try and not walk alone.

Police say the suspect in the photo was the person who committed the Friday assault.
