donor clinic

It could be the start of a great partnership as the Canadian Blood Services are holding a week long donor clinic in memory of Rich Griffin.

Griffin passed away suddenly last year but was an organ donor which helped save five lives and that wouldn’t have been possible without blood transfusions.

His wife, Nancy Griffin says she hopes people take the time to come in to the clinic which will run until Thursday.

She gave blood for the first time and says anyone on the fence should give it a shot.

Sudbury Territory Manager, Joanne Drake was talking with Nancy after and hopes this becomes an annual event.

The clinic in memory of Rich will run tomorrow from 3pm-7pm and Thursday from 8:30am-12:30 pm.
