Police Identify Body Found in Junction Creek in May 2015

After more than a year, the body of a man pulled from Junction Creek last May has been identified.

Last week, police issued a release which had a sketch of what the man may have looked like and photos of his clothing, asking for the public’s help.

A tip came in from some individuals who had seen the information on Facebook and believed the man was a relative.

The Chief Coroner’s Office has identified the man as 44-year old Owen Paul Ahpay of Saskatchewan.
