PEAR JAM IS FOLLOWING THE LEAD OF OTHERS, MEL GIBSON IS GOING TO TELEVISION, & METALLICA’S MANAGER VS. INTERNET!

First off, condolences to the family of Doris Roberts.
The actress passed away yesterday at the age of 90.
She was probably best known for her role as Marie Barone in “Everybody Loves Raymond.”

Pearl Jam is following the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams & Ringo Starr by cancelling their show in North Carolina to protest the HB2 legislation. In the statement, the band calls it “a despicable piece of legislation that encourages discrimination against an entire group of American citizens.” To read the entire statement, click here.

MEL GIBSON IS COMING TO TELEVISION!

According to The Wrap, he’ll write & direct in a show called “Barbary Coast” that’s about
the gold rush of 1849 and will also star Kurt Russell & Kate Hudson
(Mel will have a recurring role on the show too).

The trailer for his new movie “Blood Father” looks impressive!
A guy named “Jack Link” who owns a tattoo shop called ‘Missing Link’? Step Aside John Wick for ‘badass-yet-cheesy-action-name’!

“Blood Father” is due out August 25th and costars William H. Macy.

Brian Johnson spoke with AC/DC Italia about his hearing issues & said that he doesn’t
want to embarrass the band and that it’s pretty bad;
he’s getting injections weekly into the left eardrum.
AC/DC announced Axl Rose will join the group on their 10 remaining dates.

Metallica’s Co-Manager Peter Mensch Mensch told BBC Radio 4 YouTube is the devil.
This was stemming from a conversation about the widening value gap between the
volume of music and the amount of revenue generated for the music industry.
